I'm Vijay Gaonkar — a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Leader with 15+ years of experience building enterprise-scale applications. Currently at Frontline Education, I lead delivery of mission-critical ERP software powering school business operations across California.

What sets me apart is my work at the intersection of engineering and AI innovation. I co-led an AI-orchestrated development pilot that integrated specialized agents into our workflow, delivering features with zero critical defects and full WCAG AA compliance. I champion tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude across my team, and was invited by engineering leadership to present at a company-wide Copilot Guild session.

Beyond code, I'm a multiplier. I've mentored multiple engineers, owned release processes, driven security initiatives to 100% adoption, and consistently delivered features ahead of deadlines managers described as "unattainable." I speak English, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, and French.
